Congatulations! Pictures are amazing ! Not only the background nature , but the continuing fellowship with one another by our classmates based abroad. I hope the flame of our torch will live forever symbol of being the number one high school in Metro Manila and the whole country. More power to all the participants and ” Viva Las Vegas Mini Reunion Group!”. May God bless you always in terms of physical and mental health, family relationships , emotions and finacial securities. Many thanks for your contributions.

Hi Aurelio (that sounds very formal). Thank you for sending photos taken during the LV mini reunion. Glad to see you and other classmates (Alice Tababa, Ed Ahyong, Bernie Apolonio, Roman Roxas, Bert Galang) whom I have not seen since 1967.

I also would like to take this opportunity to announce the next big THS 67 fundraising project – the Dinner-Dance. This will be held at Teatrino at Promenade in Greenhills on October 25 at 6 pm. Each ticket costs Php500. Proceeds from the event will be used to finance our class projects – scholarships, carpentry tools for practical arts classes, and some library books and references. Dave Bondoc and I (together with Ojet, a friend who is helping us run this dinner-dance) visited Torres High and we talked with the Principal, the librarian, some teachers and some students. We asked them what their school-related problems are and what they think are the causes of these problems. We also asked them how alumni associations such as ours can help them address some of these problems. They had many stories to share and many suggestions to offer.

I just hope THS67 Alumni will be able to respond to some of them. That is one of the major reasons why the Organization exists, isn’t it? We want to help the less unfortunate students to finish school so that they will become respectable and productive members of our society. The present Board members invite you to join us on October 25 at Teatrino. Put on your dancing shoes, enjoy the dance, the food and the company, and win raffle prizes. YOU DANCE – YOU HELP- YOU WIN!

Their lips are sealed. What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas! Is that it?

  6. Lorenz

Hi Buddy! I may know you or I may not. But I had a friend in high school whose first name was Horacio and I called him Buddy. (Lorenz)

  7. buddy

Lorenz, forgot your last name (Vergara?). Yes I am the one and the same Horacio “Buddy” Jose. We were 2nd year classmates at THS and were inseparable then. Where are you now? E-mail me at alonzobuddy@hotmail.com.
